Hot off the press. This is the ultimate example of how the perfect location, weather, people and emotion can come together to create a beautifully perfect day. If you haven't yet been to the beautiful Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, I strongly recommend you check it out. In the summer it's a great place to relax, swim, golf and enjoy nature. There are actually endless amounts of activities available to keep you relaxed or busy, In the winter, the rolling hills are perfect for skiing.
Pam and Mark really lucked out with the weather. The late September weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The timing of sunset and the available light was just spot on (these things matter a lot to us). I think the topper was when their son rode down the isle in a push car with a sign that read "Daddy, here comes mommy". How cute is that?! Add in the live acoustic guitar player and you have the ultimate outdoor ceremony.
Pam and Mark are such awesome people with giant hearts and a beautiful family, they made it so easy to capture their moments and to tell their story in the most honest way.

I am incredibly honoured that Nabeela and Jabir chose and trusted me with the creation of their film. Their day was absolutely incredible and was a blast to shoot. They are such unique people and this film is certainly a reflection of that.

Well look what arrived. It's a book, with me on the cover.
I can't tell you too much more than that. I can, however, tell you that I will be shipping these little gems out to my couples today. So, if I'm shooting your wedding this year then good job on keeping up, you will be receiving one of these shortly. I won't reveal too much more to keep the surprise a surprise. Prepare for quite the interesting read. Don't worry, there are lots of pictures too, incase you don't feel like reading.
And yes, this really is a book on how to be famous.
I had the pleasure working with a great team at Foster Visuals for this beautiful country wedding. If you don't know who they are, definitely check out their stuff. They are amazing photographers, cinematographers and arial cinematography specialists. Brent and Tammy are masters at what they do and I'm so glad I could be a part of this with them.
Country weddings are starting to become a favourite of mine to shoot. They're very scenic, fresh, cozy and laid back. The setting couldn't have been more perfect for Lindsay and Michael, I think it fit their style perfectly. The story behind this wedding was really touching. Michael's mom was unable to physically attend the wedding because of medical reasons, but through the use of technology and great family and friends, she was able to virtually attend over FaceTime. All this went down at the Tralee Wedding Facility in Caledon.
For the technical bits. We had a total three cinematographers using a mix of Canon 5D mark 2's and 3's as well as C100's. A movi was used for the walking/gliding shots. It was graded and cut using Final Cut Pro X.
