  • HEY, thanks for stopping by!

Look below to see whats been going on lately. Who knows, there might even be something interesting there. ;)

Amanda + Thiago || Our Story

How lucky am I?  I got to spend a few hours downtown shooting a hilariously fun, easy-going, all-round genuinely nice couple!  I love my job.  Their story illustrates how high school sweethearts can become partners for a lifetime.  They’ve had their moments, but in the end, they proved they were the perfect match for each other.  Did you know that Thiago once sported an afro?  You do now.  Enjoy!

Let’s Get It Started!!

I know I know, you’re right, I haven’t been blogging much the past couple of…months…yes months.  But I have a good reason…too busy??  Okay, there’s no excuse, and I will be back on here more with some updates, sneak peaks, promotions and lots of bloggy goodness.  It was a pretty steady wedding season, so expect more highlight films.

Speaking of, I’d like to introduce Manal + Alykhan’s wedding highlights which actually kicked off this past season for me.  And boy what a way to start!  Four days of celebrations, ceremonies and fun.  They were such an easy couple to shoot, very relaxed in front of the cameras and always having a great time.  Here’s the result of hundreds (yes hundreds) of GIGABYTES of film edited down into a more digestible short form wedding film.  Enjoy!

Kingdom The Documentary

Not too long ago I had the pleasure of helping out a good friend, writer and director John Chipman. Who is John Chipman you ask? Just an award-winning journalist and documentary maker for The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He co-produced and co-directed the Gemini-award-winning TV documentary, A Death in the Family for Canada’s leading investigative program, the fifth estate. You know, no big deal or anything…riiight.

I was super excited when John asked me to help with his latest project, Kingdom, a documentary about a Canadian indy wrestler and promoter Anthony Kingdom James. I wont do the story any justice, check out the trailer for yourself. I’ll wait. :)

It costs a lot of money to make a documentary of the sort. So that’s why I’ll point you to the film’s Indiegogo page here —>; www.indiegogo.com/p/148828 where independent films can get funded by anybody interested. Maybe you like documentaries or wrestling? Maybe you want to have your name in the credits or get some cool stuff. Either way, pledge anywhere from $1 to $1000 and you will forever be a part of something awesome!

Here’s a behind the scenes shot I took while setting up for some timelapse action.

Manal + Alykhan || Our Story

I first met Manal through work and we had the pleasure of getting to know each other there and I quickly realized what a great person she was. I met Alykhan shortly after and could tell that they were a great couple with strong chemistry. When they asked me to be the one to capture their special day, I definitely didn’t have to think twice. It turned out to be an amazing four day celebration of love, family, food and tradition.

Manal + Alykhan made this love story super easy. They were pros in front of the camera and their connection with each other became more apparent as they answered the questions. Their reaction to the film as they viewed it for the first time at their reception made it all worth it. I can’t wait to finish their wedding film. ;)

Angelia’s Baptism Film

Back in February I had the pleasure of capturing the events of little Angelia’s baptism.  She is such an adorable and social baby.  She was beautiful as usual and made my job super easy.  I am thankful to her parents John-Paul and Ashley for asking me to capture and create a highlight film of the day.  It was such a joyous occasion and I think it turned out great.  Her Godparents, Nick and Pam did such a great job getting Angelia ready and taking good care of her that day.  It was an all round great day that I’m happy to say I was a part of.  I cant wait to be there to capture more of her life’s milestones.

Done and Done!

After one quick re-edit, the final version of Hyundai Toronto’s Sunday event highlight video is all finished. Again, great people, great food, all round good time. I can’t even imagine what Benny will be cooking up next time. Whatever it is, I’m sure it will be another hit.

It’s a Hyundai Sunday!

I’ve never had so much fun on a Sunday. Okay maybe I have. But this Hyundai Sunday event at Toronto Hyundai was quite the spectacle. There was fresh pasta being made, a Continental Noodles give away and CHIN radio providing the tunes. Oh, and yes, there were cars too. Check out this behind the scenes pic.

A special thank you to my good friend (photographer and cinematographer) JP of John-Paul Photography for helping out and nailing some great footage. He’s a very talented photographer. He does weddings too. Check out his pics at www.johnpaulphotography.ca or his blog at www.johnpaulphoto.blogspot.ca

First Blog Post, Whoohooo!!

This is the first blog post!  So fresh and so clean.  It feels good to finally have things up and running.  After a long period of learning WordPress and deciding on design features I’ve finally managed to roll something out.  We are very new still and we will be constantly updating our site.  I promise to keep you updated with all things film and movie related.  But not so updated that I bore you.  Welcome, thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see more of you in the future.
