Not too long ago I had the pleasure of helping out a good friend, writer and director John Chipman. Who is John Chipman you ask? Just an award-winning journalist and documentary maker for The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He co-produced and co-directed the Gemini-award-winning TV documentary, A Death in the Family for Canada’s leading investigative program, the fifth estate. You know, no big deal or anything…riiight.
I was super excited when John asked me to help with his latest project, Kingdom, a documentary about a Canadian indy wrestler and promoter Anthony Kingdom James. I wont do the story any justice, check out the trailer for yourself. I’ll wait. :)
It costs a lot of money to make a documentary of the sort. So that’s why I’ll point you to the film’s Indiegogo page here —>; www.indiegogo.com/p/148828 where independent films can get funded by anybody interested. Maybe you like documentaries or wrestling? Maybe you want to have your name in the credits or get some cool stuff. Either way, pledge anywhere from $1 to $1000 and you will forever be a part of something awesome!
Here’s a behind the scenes shot I took while setting up for some timelapse action.
